Hi there. Can someone tell me how I turn an NT Extended Partition Logical
drive into a Primary Partition Basic Drive? Formatting the drive within Disk
Management doesn't seem to do it. TIA.

PartitionMagic will do it non-destructively.

If you don't mind losing your data, delete the
whole partition, then recreate it as a primary
partition.

That's okay, I don't need what's on the drive. But how do I 'delete and
recreate' exactly? Sorry but not familiar with NT here.

TIA

Run windisk.exe to manipulate your partitions.
