This is my first time posting to any board, but I have run into a
problem that I cannot seem to resolve.

I added 256MB of ram to my system. The system only recognizes 128MB of
it, so I either brought the wrong type or I need to make a change to
have it all recognized. That is not my problem.

My problem is that since I installed the new RAM, my pc will not boot
past the NT Screen. It show me my build #, amoutn of RAM, but it
doesn't display the dots.

I have tried to repair NT from the Setup disks and the ERD, but that
hangs as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might
resolve this problem.

Thanks

check it on another machine? i looked at buying ram and it says on the
site it must be installed in pairs? Possible you have to buy or source
new pair?
